Disciplined behavior is essential for the well-being of the school and the achievement of objectives. It promotes a climate of mutual respect, self-discipline and responsible behavior. It ensures misconduct if dealt with in a formalized fair and appropriate manner. It ensures such action is corrective and will improve the learner’s performance and behavior. It outlines, in detail, action that can be taken should a learner commit an offence in contravention of the code laid down. It ensures no learner who represents a peer in a hearing will be victimized or prejudiced against. Learners who are accepted at Wordsworth High School receives a Code of Conduct as well as copies of all School Policies applicable to them, for example the Colours Constitution, Cell Phone and Electronic Sound Equipment Policy and the Learner School Attendance Policy.
