Swim Dynamics was formed by Dee Barnard and Bev Verweij, two accomplished South African swim teachers, when they recognised the need for swimming instructor courses that would train aspiring swim instructors to teach swimming correctly, and so raise the standards of coaching in South Africa. The Babies Course is to train instructors on the specialised act of teaching babies from 6 months to 3 years to swim.
The Swim Dynamics facilitators and trainers have a wealth of experience in the industry and wish to share their knowledge and experience with others in the interests of the sport and the community, enhance the profession, and create opportunities for swim instructors. They facilitate courses in locations across South Africa, or those who are already instructors, making it accessible to everyone who wishes to become swimming instructors, but who hope to improve their teaching skills. Level 1 will enable you to teach children from 3 to 7 years o.

Providing a means for encouraging outside countries to compet in meets. Current Swimming dynamics host the official Western Province Databases and is striving to expanded its foot print by extending its support to other Provinces in South Africa and the World. Swimming Performance Analysis started back in 2004 to provide online available swimming results to dial-up internet users. The developmental goal was to provide interactive filtering of meets results that now take place in server client fashion of today in a pure client side application similar to web 2.0 applications. interactive functionality of site, meet results, rankings, athlete times. Thus, this lead to a mutually benificial relationship with Western Province Aquatics.
