SparePower supplies quality new, used and refurbished earthmoving parts, components and machines to the earthmoving, contract mining, quarrying and construction industry. We are the sole appointed distributor of Geographe high quality pins, bushes, gears and wear parts for Africa and SRP aftermarket parts for Volvo construction equipment throughout Southern Africa. He, together with his hand-picked team of industry experts, most of whom have in excess of 20 years' experience in the earthmoving industry, understand how important it is to provide a quality service to our customers and the operational difficulties that you encounter. At SparePower we are able to offer cost effective solutions to extend the service life of your equipment by supplying quality parts that you can depend on, thereby significantly reducing running costs and the cost of machine downtime. We do this by carefully selecting suppliers and offering high standards of service along with sound technical advice. Our workshop allows us to repair or strip up to ten pieces of large earthmoving equipment simulta-neously. An advanced component repair and assembly area allows SparePower to offer a wide range of quality parts and service exchange components. SparePower is one of a very few local facilities equipped with a large track adjuster (coil spring) press and offers specialised repairs as a value-added service. SparePower is built on a foundation of integrity, service and quality, values which will always remain the cornerstone of all our business transactions. Nearly all of our parts are catalogued and photo-graphed, giving our customers comfort knowing that what they see is what will be delivered. Tambo International Airport also facilitates the speedy distribution of parts to anywhere in sub Saharan Africa and beyond. With a range of over 4,000 items available, SRP has, over the past 24 years provided customers with excellent service, quality aftermarket replacement parts at competitive prices. They provide engineered solutions and services to a broad range of mechanical and industrial markets. These parts are competitively priced and outlast the OEM standard. Geographe ensures high quality products through meticulous quality control of selected materials, the right heat treatment and applying fit for purpose tolerance levels. The used parts market is typically geared towards only supplying components. What differentiates SparePower is that we strip machines right down to individual parts. All stripped parts go through a quality control check before being photographed, captured, properly packaged and stored in a secure warehouse. We maintain a significant inventory of reconditioned parts, including slow moving parts that are not typically kept by OEMs and which typically sell at 5 to 50% of the cost of a new OEM-supplied equivalent. SparePower has been very successful in servicing Insurance Houses by supplying cabs and body panels for the cost effective repair of accident-damaged equipment. SparePower sells quality refurbished earthmoving equipment through our MachinePower division and all of our machines undergo a very thorough mechanical inspection following their rebuild.
