Micron Scientific was established in 1991 specifically to support Malvern Instruments. Over the years we expanded our unique range of material characterisation instrumentation to include a large number of techniques. We also offer contract analysis services for some of these techniques. In line with our commitment to service excellence, result turn around time is three to five working days, but within one day on special request. For many companies investing in laboratory instruments are not always cost-effective due to the amount of samples that needs testing. For such companies out-sourcing these tests to a competent laboratory is a cost effective alternative. Besides providing a range of material characterisation instrumentation Micron Scientific also have a small dedicated laboratory that offers contract analysis, Micron Scientific provide Sales, Contract Analysis and Technical Support for Laboratory Instruments that address a range of applications in QC and Research relating to Materials. Micron Scientific offers physical testing laboratory services on a contract basis. Micron will offer you the best possible after sales application and technical support. All Micron technical and sales personnel are routinely factory trained and have gained a large amount of experience supporting over 200 particle characterization systems locally. In situations where the system may have suffered extensive damage, loan/rental units can be made available to avoid the inconvenience of downtime to the customer. The single most important factor in the successful use of any analytical instrument is the operator. It is essential that the operator is trained in the proper use of the instrument that he/she operates. To that end Micron Scientific includes free training with every new instrument it supplies. For new users (or current users that would like refresher training) we also now offer basic and advanced training on our full range of instrumentation. This training is conducted on the customers’ premises for their convenience. Custom training courses is also available to meet any unique requirements the customer might have.
