The children that attended school during the holidays had fun playing games and socializing. The children will spend a relaxing week at the school during the holiday. Heidi Montessori has been in the Business of teaching children for 39 years and the school is owned by the founder Mrs Joan Jennings. The building was built in 1936 as a magnificent residence and it is now the perfect secure location for your child to spend his/her foundation years. A member has over 30 years service and of the remaining teaching staff the majority have over 14 years service. Reports are sent out bi-annually on the progress made by the child. Staff are qualified and experienced and receive on going training. Grade 'R's follow a set sylabus and are well prepared for Primary School. Extensive imported Montessori Equipment is available for children to use. We are not just a play school but a school where children play and are also taught so that they can reach their full potential. The two Play grounds are spacious, lawned, well treed and security walled with electric fencing. Some of our Staff are trained in first aid and fire fighting. Regular fire drill is carried out by all the children and staff. We are affiliated to the Lakewest precinct and have the response units of ER 24 available should we require them. Heidi is a member of the CMS Armed Response Company which constantly patrols the area.
