Welcome to Anicic Heavy Engineering, a leading heavy and precision engineering specialist in manufacturing, fabrication and plant maintenance solutions. Established by Nic Anicic in 1979, we design and engineer equipment to customer specification with an emphasis on the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) industry. Anicic performs a wide range of machining processes that include Heavy Engineering turning, milling, drilling, grinding and horizontal boring from small to very large products. Our state of the art Benoni fabrication workshop is equipped with lathes, boring mills, computer numeric controls and a variety of precision-manufacturing equipment where precision engineers, coded welders and artisans specialize in the welding and fabrication of aluminium, steel, and stainless steel. An advanced welding section includes arc welding processes, such as pulsed MIG, TIG, plasma and submerged arc. Our facility has the capacity to work and machine to extreme specific tolerances. We are an accredited supplier to large foundries, OEMs, the railways, mining houses and industrial manufacturing, to mention but a few sectors, and have manufactured components for the armaments and aeronautical industries. Another unique service is non-destructive examination for various crack detection tests.
